In 1963 an intake of Craft Apprentices started with Ferranti Ltd in Edinburgh. Most started at Lorne Street training school before moving on to Ferranti’s own training school at Couper Street the following year. In 1988 the 25 year reunion took place, other reunions followed as years above

In 2013 on the 50th anniversary the gathering was a full day. Crewe Toll Factory in the morning, lunch in Haddington, afternoon visit to East Fortune Museum of Flight including Concorde and evening meal in Carlton Hotel.

Since them reunions have usually been trips to places of interest followed by lunch.

Go to the years above for photos and documents on each year. Thanks to Bill Hunter, Selwyn Johnston , Ally Middleton and Eddie McDonald for most of the photos. To Kenny Wilson and Peter Lynch for 1963 Terms of Employment and Pay Packet. Thanks to my son Peter for setting up the webpage.
